Besides the website you can create from here, can someone list others they have used (I'm also familiar with the one on geocities from Yahoo). Any others?

I started out on the knot before I came here to LIW. I like the website here better, but already created the one over there...
you can get your own domain name through both websites (ie. www.johnandmary.com)

This is where we did ours. You have to pay for it, but you get your own domain name so it was worth it for us, plus we were able to add in a lot of stuff for our OOT guests.

Same here. Though the company that Star Jones used has some good options as well. I can't remember the name of it, but if you do a Google search, you'll find it.

We have had our wedding website on weddingchannel.com since March '04, and so far everything has gone very smoothly with them. We set up a knot website before that, but it wasn't easy to navigate and we really didn't like the options, so we had them remove it.

I think so. That's why we went with wedding tracker. We didn't want people to have to type theknot/ournames/wedding/blahblahblah. It's just easier IMO to have it be www.ournames.com, you know?

Plus since its flash the content isn't searchable by google or other search engine. You can put your contact info there with no fear... Very handy!
