I was super early this morning in getting ready for work so i decided to make a bagel to bring in instead of my normaly breakfast bar.... well i sliced my finger open while doing it, woke FH up and he helped me bandage it up. I ended up getting so lightheaded i had to lay down twice before i left! UGH! I am bleeding through band-aids left and right. I had to pull over while going to my carpool buddy's house because I almost passed out. I am not normally queasy, but because i hadn't eaten anything i got like that(it happens to me a lot, something to do with blood sugar i think) i feel bad though, i woke FH up out of a dead sleep because i jstu kept saying OW OW OW lolol If this is any indication about how today will be, I should have just stayed home!

Re: ouch
from the constant pressure i think it had stopped. i m afraid to take the band aid off though lol in fear it will start again. FH is in FDNY and he knows his EMT stuff... so i m sure he would have told me if i needed stitches, although he was still half asleep while he was helping me lol i m still queasy though, and i am almost refusing to eat the damn bagel. i think it had it out for me. i might choke on it or something! lol

Re: ouch
michelle - i brought big bandages to work and tape too to tape it up so its tighter and i wont have to constantly apply pressure with my other finger. i just hope today gets better. it can't get any worse right?! lol

OUCH!
Sounds like a super bad cut! I think my worst cut ever was from slicing a bagel!
Keep applying pressure to it and if it doesn't stop bleeding go get stitches.

Re: ouch
you need to go get the little butterfly stitch band aids those will hold it together and then put the other ones over it
