I hope not because i really want to get FH a cake and i know the exact one i want. I dont think its to detailed as some that i seen on here. Gonna keep getting quotes. Unfortunatly this one I can't make my own

Do you ever get the feeling that just cause your planning a wedding people think you have money to burn.....this cake is no where near that amount of money...it just baffles me. I found her on here. Think im gonna go to my local bakery and see what they can do.

how many slices are you looking for? Most of the bakers I have spoken too charge by the slice and the complexity of the design

I provided them with a picture of the cake i want. Thats what they came back with. My cake is more than enough for the wedding...this is just something i want to do for FH. I dont mind blowing $300 but $675 took me off guard.

I searched HIGH and low for FH's 30th b-day cake and I think the cheapest quote I got was around $500. I went to some cake place in Babylon, I called CMNY cakes, went to Black Forrest Bakery and I realized that not only is fondant super pricey, it sucks taste wise.

I wound up going to Dortoni's and they charged me $150 for a 1/2 sheet cake with FH's pride and joy car that they made out of fondant on top of the cake.
