I'm going to look up home remedies for you but if anyone says milk OR butter they are lying, do not do it

HAHAHHAHA - why!? Bad experience, Jess?

PS - you looked like a ROCKSTAR at karaoke! You little vixen.

lol I guess you can call it that, it actually makes your burn worse, they say it's supposed to help but it's really an old wives tale. Karaoke rocked! We missed ya

Welcome back, Bonnie!

When I have a sunburn, I use this ghetto remedy: take a paper towel and wet it in really cold water. Then put it on your burned arm or leg and let it just stick on there, like you're making a cast or something. Keep it there till it warms up, and reapply. Just a very temporary solution, but if it's really bugging you, it's a quick fix. Try putting a back-up supply of wet paper towels in the fridge.

(Gosh, even as I type it, I'm embarrassed that I do it. 'You might be a redneck... if you cure sunburn my molding wet paper towels to your sunburned limbs!')

So I just got back from a long weekend in Florida and I burned the crapola out of my fair irish skin.

Do you guys have any good solutions to fighting sunburn BESIDES aloe?? I have a bad reaction to aloe....

Milk or Yogurt...I had a bad burn once, so bad i couldn't walk AT ALL for a week, thats how bad my legs were burned...the only time i got any relief and was able to move my legs for at least an hour or two so i can shower lol was yogurt or milk..I would put them on the cotton pads and put it on my skin...Milk is good for skin burns

Dava - don't feel bad.... my ghetto remedy is to apply aloe to my skin then blow on it. If I have a fan, I lather the aloe on and stand in front of it (usually can't find a fan so I just blow myself)
