OUCHHHHHHHH!

Went fishing on sun and forgot my SPF, went to the derm doc this am and he said I have 1st deg burns on my face and back. I am hurting right now. On top of that I was wearing a halter top bathing suit and now have lovley tan lines, which with my strapless dress is gonna look like butt!!!! HELP! How many x's if I go topless in the tanning bed would really help me out?????????? I guess I should wait until my face and back heals.. I really hope this goes away b4 the wedding..

OMG, I'm sorry DON'T do anything just yet! You still have over 2 months. Let it fade a while... then if it's still really noticable see about airbrush tanning! Good Luck!!

You have plenty of time before the wedding. Let your face and back heal before even thinking about going tanning. Stay out of the sun for a while. Begin slow tanning (only a few minutes at a time) in the tanning bed in Sept. Feel better.

feel better!! i would definetly let your skin get better before you think about anything to fix your tan lines---maybe sunless tanner???

I agree, try to stay out of the sun! I got burnt on Memorial Day weekend, wore a halter top and the tan lines are totally gone, don't worry, you will be fine for the wedding. And there's always airbrushing!

Stay out of the sun until you are completely healed. I fell asleep once at Jones Beach. Everything felt fine when I woke up and went to work. The next day however I couldn't open one eye because one side of my face (the side that was exposed to the sun when I fell asleep) was blistered causing my eye to get stuck. I looked like Mel Gibson in the Man Without a Face for @ 3 weeks, but it healed and my face got back to 'even' a few weeks after that.

I literally feel your pain. I had to work outside all weekend and I got a bad burn too on my shoulder and neck. I have lovely tank top lines, and my dress is also strapless!! Darn sun. I'm hoping it fades and I'll even it out with airbrushing.

Oh, I got this stuff called Sooth-A-Canie today by Banana Boat (at Ulta). It has aloe and lanocaine and it's really cooling and gives a little relief anyway. You might want to give it a try.

Definetly start feeling better first. But you have plenty of time to even yourself out-I've done it in 2 sessions at salon.

Re: OUCHHHHHHHH!

Yeah I would definitely not rush into the tanning bed. Wait until it fades a little bit and then tan a few times before the wedding. The lines will go away, don't worry!
