A few months ago FH and I decided to use Etta James' Atlast for our first dance. It was one of those songs that you just dont hear anymore but has such an impact. That is until Beyonce went and sang it last night for the obamas!!! Now the whole world has heard it again!!! lol
FH says lets just keep it but I'm not sure. I LOVE the old motown love songs any suggestions?

We are using an old Motown song too. Best Thing That Ever Happen to Me by Gladys Knight and the Pips.

I'm actually rethinking it now. Haven't spoken to FH yet, but loved Beyonce's version of At Last!!!

At Last is in the public eye at this moment, but it has always been and will remain a timeless, classic song ... I see nothing wrong with using it for your first dance!

FH wants to dance to 'All my Life' by Jo-Jo and K-Ci but I've heard that so many times. I love 'At Last' so I'm gonna try and convince him to change it

I LOVE that song!!! I was thinking of using it until my cousin who got married in September used it as her wedding song. I almost cried! It is a GREAT song and you should definitely use it!
