...and it is a beautiful girl! Claire Marie, 7 lbs 9 oz. 21 1/2 inches. The doctors has estimated based on the ultrasound that she was 9lbs 9oz 1 week before she arrived, she was 8 days late, clearly they were wrong so dont always believe the weight estimates, it caused me a lot of un-needed stress. I tryed to have a v-birth despite her estimated size, but her head just never moved down, so I had a c-section, which unforntunatly for me was not a very good experience (I'll spare the details) and I am still trying to deal with it, but each day gets better since I have such a beautful baby girl!

Congratulations! It's amazing how off they can be on the weight. Im glad you didnt opt for the c/s purely on size. Im sorry that your c/s experience was not so great. Mine wasnt either - not because of anything the doctors or hospital staff did but just b/c, well it's major surgery and then you're trying to be happy, handle the baby, etc. and it makes it all the harder. For me, the further I got away from it and the more my body is healing (5 months) the less it felt like such a bad experience. LOL - when I was in the hospital I adamantly told my DH no more kids and then a few months later, Im saying I would like to have one more.
