Our bid accepted

Our bid accepted

Ok so we're still very new to this but last night our bid was accepted a lovely home. We'll be buying directly from the owner. I'm trying to get a lawyer now. What happens then? Any lawyer recommendations? the house is in Williston Park (near Mineola).
Thanks

Congratulations. Danielle and I are actually looking at a house that is for sale by owner. We would like to know what is after the bid being accepted, not that we got that far yet lol

you need to get an inspector to come and inspect the house... that is usually the first step after having your bid accepted!!

Yeah we got an engineer to call up. Do we need to call a seperate termite inspector or can the engineer check for termites too?

Get the engineer, sometimes they do the termite inspection as well, others won't, it's usally another $50-75.
