YAY!!! Our bid was accepted on friday....Our inpection is tomorrow...and on Sunday there was a SOLD sign up. These peopel are ready to move already. They cant wait to get to Vegas!!!! Im so excited.
It is weird. Evertyhgi is alittle backwards. We did not sign a contract yet, but the closing date was giving (approxamite) and the sign is up. This is so exciting.
Any questions that we should ask the inspector? we are doing the termite thing to.

Update 1/11 OUR INSPECTION PASSED WITH FLYING COLORS THE GUY SAID!!!
We have to do a couple of minor things...but that is about it....Im so excited~

Congrats! It makes sense not to sign a contract before an inspection...you never know what will turn up.

Thanks girls....
I knew about the inspection...but I was suprised that the sold sign was up before we singed our contract. They want to move already they said. They really liked us. Anthony made fun of me because I was playing barbie with there children...but look at there they took our bid!!!
The town is Old Medford. Im a Nassau girl...but I must say I love the area. My dad was upset with me and kinda ignored me for a day and didnt ask about hte house...bc he wanted us to stay local in Massapequa...but it was not reality for us right now. We couldnt afford it. But now I think he understands...Thank goodness. Soon as I get pictures I will post them.

Where is Old Medford? I know Medford...never heard of 'old Medford'

Our relestate agent told us today that it is MEDFORD...but the other agent the sellers agent said Old Medford...It is the area....IDK why he jsut did nto say medford....sorry abotu that

congrats..... What happens with the minor things - who has to do them - What were they... I go for inspection tomorrow and I am so nervous about it....

hey....The some minor things 'saftly issues' like our deck did not have a railing...and there was not a vent in the bathroom...the homeowner is asked to fix before they leave...The relestate asked there realestate agent. I have a buyers agent.
Also he needed to finish the molding downstairs...and put clozet doors in the basement.
SOme stuff we needed to do was cut a rose bush so it does nto hit the house....(to help the siding)...cork this area outside so we can prevent water damage....stuff like that...the Inspector gave SUGGESTIONS to us. He was great. We jsut walked around with the inspectr...fh brought a notebook and pen....to take notes....you do get a 30 page report of everthing he tells you...but i woudl take notes anyway...so you can write it down yourself...fh is glad he did it.
I was really nervous to! but you will be fine! Best of luck...KEEP US POSTED!!!!!! I WANT TO HEAR EVERYTHIG!!!
