We asked Fh's cousin to do our photography. She is super handy with a camera and will definitely be able to get us the shots we need.
What is everyone else doing, cutting out to save money?

I think thats such a good idea. I'm a photographer and I have friends who are also Photographers. I'm going to use one or maybe 2 of them!

We are saving $$ by cutting out a lot of flowers in the Church..we are just having alter flowers (2) and a few pew bows..our church is beautiful so it does not need a lot
We also kept our guest list to family (we both have small families) and very close friends

awesome. And as long as they are invited guests they do not fall under the vendor category so the same 'insurance' rules won't apply.

as of right now we are not having video. My uncle shot video of my brother's wedding and I loved the way it came out (even more than the one they paid for).
There is still the possibility that we will get video but we won't decide until we are closer and see where we are money wise.

Thats what we are cutting right now to save on cost. A friend of mine is a videographer and shots movies and stuff. He said he would do our wedding I am thinking of taking him up on it. I am not too worried about it being edited and stuff I just want to have the moments!!! though he could edit it for us too

Its also the week after Easter so they should have plenty of Lilys and Flowers from the holiday! Our priest told us not to even order flowers for the church bc there will be so many already
