We heard a big THUMP from upstairs, and when we came down, the tree was on the floor. Damn thing killed itself! Even my dad, the reluctant 'Taker Downer of the Tree' was kind of sad that the darn thing gave up on it's own. Well, our house is officially Christmas Tree-less.

Oh, I'm sorry. I'm worried that our cat may kill our tree. He keeps on eyeing it and I'm sure he's thinking how he can get to the top of it.

a falling christmas tree IS one of the greatest joys of the season....mostly because it frustrates my dad incredibly which is always fun to watch! sorry to hear baout your loss rachel....
