Just got the call back from the church to setup out initial meeting with the Priest! I am so excited but this check is making me the most nervous because it makes things so much more official!!
Meeting isn't until August 4th but I am reading everything they sent me and starting to get everything together.. I definitely don't want to go there without EVERYTHING done correctly

I had that same feeling. I started the paperwork with the church our wedding will be at but I need to go back with the FH so he can fill out his part. Its hard to do things when you have a long distant relationship

FH's Grandmother is a huge part of this church so I think they are just doing it for her really because when I talked to the receptionist she said 'Oh yeah, you're the couple getting married in 2 years' not nasty but kind of in a tone that suggests they don't usually book this far in advance but hey, if they're willing to meet with us and we can book it, I'm happy haha =D

For me they were a little iffy on doing it but I explained to them that the FH lives in PA so we are back and forth between states so its hard to nail down exact time and that eventually before the wedding I am moving so I wanted to start things while I was still around and they understood that

That's understandable for you both. I will probably wait till we are at the year mark. Plus six months before we need to take pre cana classes.

we are trying to start them early. I just need to get the fh here and be free the same time the church is so that we can arrange things. FYI wedding planning via long distance sucks and is really hard

I booked my church in early July. I was super nervous too!! Probably what I was most nervous for, there is a lot of paperwork and details involved which I never realized!! Good luck!! :)
