I'm so happy. we just had our wedding interview at the Parish of Holy Cross in Nesconset. i'm so glad that they had an afternoon wedding available. yay!

Congrats! That and the florist are all we have left, and not living in any parish on LI (moved to VA 11 years ago) I've been having a hard time and getting nervous. But, we have an appt. in a few weeks to meet with a priest at St. Patrick's in Glen Cove and I'm very hopeful and can't wait to get a 'thumbs up' and lock in where we will actually do the deed!!!

Congrats! Can I asked what kind of questions they ask? I am going in two weeks!
The Priest asked: have we been married before? have we taken on oath to not marry? am i catholic? where were my sacraments? ever had professional counseling? would we raise the kids catholic?
it wasn't bad. it was a simple yes or no answer. you will do well. good luck.
