Our first night of Pre-Cana was tonight and ...........

the instructor didn't show up. 8 couples just sat there for two hours waiting and finally we all left.

It's the same archdiocese as everyone here, the NY archdiocese, so we will have to call Chris Mueller tomorrow. He coordinates all the pre-canas. Grrrrrrr. It was such a waste and disappointing as we were looking forward to it.

well actually, im in brooklyn so we are the brooklyn/queens diocese. our instructors were late so we called and found out they were on their way.

hopefully tomorrow will be better

Oh, my bad!!! I thought it was for all boroughs but apparently not ... oops. Sorry! Yes, I am calling the guy tomorrow. What a headache! We trekked out from Manhattan to Westchester for it, rented a car, yada yada.

what is pre cana?

It's a course for Catholic couples or couples getting married in Catholic churches which must be completed before they marry.

that's even worse. i feel so bad for you and FH.

Thanks we were pissed. In retrospect it's sort of funny. We were so freaked about being late in traffic that we were near fighting on the way to Pre-cana, oh the irony. And then we get there and the guy doesn't show!!! LOL.
