They say that 20% of people cancel. Take into consideration if some of your guests are OOT they may not be able to make it.

holy crap - that's all i have to say. seriously, are there any guests that you know for sure won't come? like me, i know that i have flaky family members who will never show. but i still invite them. know what i mean?

Our OOT guests are all flying in Don't get me wrong I am happy but mad, does that make sense? I know of a handful that probably won't come but I need at least 40 people. I want to fit comfortably in the ballroom. We can't even cut people

there is not one person/couple on your list that you can take off - a neighbor; friend of a friend of a friend, etc.? if it makes you feel better we somehow managed to invite 178 people to our e-party. the hall only holds 150 people. but there are at least 40 people that we know won't come. maybe u can 'accidentlly' forget to mail a few invites?

My minimum guaranty was 250. We invited 319 and have 245 coming!

our room holds 230... I think it holds more like 200... and we are inviting 250... on avg 22% say no...and then you always have to take a few people who may have to cancel last minute...

I think on average 5% say no. But I could be wrong. And if you sent out Save the Dates, it might decrease the odds.
But I know how you feel, I started off with a list of 150, and we're up to 207. Luckily Island Hills is large enough and doesn't have restrictions.
