Our Jack n Jill Bachelor / Bachelorette Party is BOOKED!

FH and I did not, under any circumstances want 'traditional' bachelor and bachelorette parties. We're so not into that stuff. We wanted to do a joint party so the bridal party could meet each other and so we could celebrate together. We're both really into wine and wanted to do a wine tour or something related.

My good friend and super-BM did tons of research and legworked and booked a wine tour for us. We have a stretch Hummer for the day to take us wine tasting out east, lunch included. Then we'll probably go to my parents' house for a BBQ and drinks afterwards. (We moved to a tiny apartment, and my parents' house is just bigger)

I'm so looking forward to this. It should be an awesome (and relaxing!) day!

(Okay, it sounds boring on paper, but it's really what we both wanted to do!)

that sooo does not sound boring! that sounds like a perfect day to me! i wish i could get FH to agree to something like that - i am so not the type of girl who likes 'traditional' bachelorette stuff - i made my girls promise me no strippers!

Thanks! I can't wait. I'm really looking forward to it. At first, I thought we were getting a limobus -- but then I got really excited when I found out it was a stretch Hummer. That's even nicer!
