Our July 15 Wedding!
The day was truely perfect! It was perfect beyond what I ever could have asked for!! Here is a run down of the vendors.... Flowerfield was great! The food and the service were excellent. Elena the Bridal Ass''t - AMAZING!! Worth every dime.. I would recommend her to everyone.. My sister in law and 2 of my friends have already booked her! She was just great.. not only was my hair and makeup perfect but she is there to help you get dressed, fix your makeup, run around for you if need be.. she also did my mom and sisters hair - they were just as pleased as I was! Bridesmaid dresses - I had my bridesmaid dresses made by a seamstress named Phyllis Limmer - they were beautiful! Flowers - Buds to Bouquets in Centerport. AMAZING!! If you are not from the area you probably have not heard of them but they are well worth looking into, Patti, the owner is great! She truely went above and beyond and at a price atleast half what others were giving me. Photography by Verdi - Rich and Mindy were great, we are picking up the pics tonight - they were such a pleasure to work with and from their work that I have already seen, I know the pictures will be amazing. Video Specialists- Again, Julie was great, I really didn''t even know he was there. I''m excited to see the video - I''m sure there were tons I missed. Band - Skyline - They were good. Everyone said what a great band they are... unfortunately a few weeks before the wedding I found out the lead female vocalist had left the band so I was disappointed but no one else knew the difference...EVERYONE was on the dance floor all night. Cruise Control Limos - great service just be careful and keep your contract updated b/c they tried to charge more than we were contracted for. Bridal Boutique in Massapequa - GREAT! I got my veil, tiara, favors and last minute little things there. Good service, great prices!!! The only thing that was less than perfect about the day was my dress. STAY AWAY FROM BRIDAL COUTURE OF MANHASSET!!! I brought my dress home and it was all wrinkled, they had put it in a cheap plastic bag like you''d get from the drycleaner.. I was in such a daze 2 days b/f the wedding I didn''t think to complain.. I had to have the seamstress who made my bridesmaid dresses steam it last minute.. she noticed they had left pencil marks on it.. which were too late to get out.. then as I go to walk down the isle with my dad I am tripping b/c it was too long (I don''t think they hemmed it again after my final fitting and they don''t want you trying it on again when you pick it up... so it won''t wrinkle! ha!)... the bustle was also way too long.. the bridal ass''t took a needle and thread and made a new bustle. I paid over $3000 for this dress and the end result was a big disappointment. I think that is everything... I hope all of you have a day as perfect as mine was! Good luck!!

Our July 15 Wedding!
Christine, I also had the same problem with my dress. I paid $4,000 for a Vera Wang and I could in no way walk in it!! I didn't ever try to walk in it at the fittings so at the church my father and I could barely get down the isle, everyone was laughing!! Glad everything else went well, Congratulations!!!
