Our Meeting with the Rabbi...

So yesterday we met with Rabbi Sheinberg. She;s not the rabbi we found to officiate at interfaith ceremonies, she's the head of the congregation we've been to a few times. She spoke with us for an hour and a half, and while she doesn't officiate at interfaith weddings (it's more of a logistics thing for her), she gave us some names, and 1/3 of the congregation is made up of interfaith families and there will be, she says an increasing humber of resources there for interfaith families. We went there predisposed to so much negatvity about everything but the response we got was SO positive. She was so supportive and offered her continued support and told us we were asking all the right questions and that we really seem like we're on the right track to be successful. She also gave us the names of some books to read, etc. So if anyone is interested, I can pass that on.
