our moving nightmare/we're still unpacking and finishing..ugh!

so we were supposed to move last, last monday...but were accidentally bumped that day by the movng company - which i was so pissed about b/c we literally had packed or thrown away everything (sheets, toothbrushes, etc) before we found out...ergh....and then it proceeeded to rain so we didn't get to move....so we moved on thursday....well, we have been in for a week since this past thursday and stuff is still slowly getting done. it was hardest b/c literally the only room completely done awas our bedroom and evrything else was still being done! But....we finally finished the living room painting yesterday (had to wait for contractors to finish the windows and then we had to add molding around them!) and we painted the amazing walk in closet my dh built from scratch for me! (he's wonderful!!!! my clothes and shoes love him too now!!) its a little disheatening b/c we still have so much to do but we both know despite being so tired and all now, it will be worth it in the end....while it would have been nicer to move into a 'done' house, its easier to pay only a mortgage and no longer rent and mortgage and now we can work and then go right to sleep instead of how we used ot work, change and drive home for an hr! we're both still getting used to the commute (and i did have a few meltdowns this week - the weather and its complications didn't help!) but its nice to know we finally have a 'home'!!!
