Our Preist was DEPORTED!

Is anyone getting married at St. Dominic's in Oyster Bay? Our priest was deported!!!!! I'm sure they'll find us someone from another parish. We just picked up a bulletin the other day... and there it was. LOL What else can go wrong?

They gave a breif explanation that he did not have the proper papers, etc. He's from Poland. Homeland Security would keep the church updated!!! Oh my, if he's not back by Aug this will make a great story to tell my kids. Although I'm sure the last thing on the poor priests mind is the wedding ceremonys he's supposed to perform, lol.

i'm sorry - i know St. Dom's has a lot of trouble these past few years but they will find some one new to marry you - they can also pull from the seminary in loyd harbor

Neither of us live close to the church. We just happen to be in the neighborhood and stopped in. I grabbed a bulletin and was reading it in the car. I then burst out laughing. I couldn't stop. It sounds mean, I know. But of all the things to happen....
