Our wedding is in 23 days and I dont think i want to get married in 2008 anymore!
Ok so since the beginning of this year.....
1 ) FH's uncle Jack died from cancer
2) My mom had a massive brain aneyrisum rupture in her head
3) My sister was in a very serious car crash and is still in the hospital
4) Our dog Marley went missing yesterday while we were packing to move back to NY from Florida and we still cant find him
5) I just got a call from my nephew that they just rushed my older brother to the ED cuz they think he either has kidney stones or a ruputed appendix.
Anyone else having an AWFUL year................. Just as I think things can only get better something else happens

Oh I am so sorry. I hope everyone can still make it to your wedding. I remember reading about your sister. One of my friends went through that last year. Your brother will be fine. Hopefully your mom is doing much better. Everyone will say prays your dog will come back before you leave. Good luck.

WOW! I'm so sorry you're having such an awful year.
I know it's little consolation, but 2008 hasn't been the best year for me either...I had spinal surgery which was very successful, but I couldn't work for a while, so my bank accounts are drying up while the hospital bills pile up.

it sounds like this year has been tough for you and your family... hopefully your wedding can be a welcome thing of happiness to break up the sadness and hopefully turn everything around

yes i did. My grandfather died in october, my cousin and her boyfriend were killed one week before my wedding and she was buried the day i was married. Even though there were unexpected obstacles, the wedding was the best day of our entire lives. People were that much more eager to celebrate. It sounds horrible, but it's true. I thought our wedding would be a disaster. FM me if you need to talk

OMG i am so sorry!!! i know thats alot to handle but you getting arried might change everything for the better!
