Our Wedding / My Wedding

how many of you when talking to FH, slip up and say 'My Wedding?'
This happens to me all the time. And it used to drive FH crazy. He would get so hurt, saying 'I hope I am invited to this thing' 'It's not like I have anything to do with it ' , and 'YOUR WEDDING???? '
But now he does that sometimes himself

Actually we both tend to refer to it as 'THE' wedding. Because its just that fabulous, of course!

I usually say 'THE' wedding tooo

Well usually I say 'the wedding' if I'm talking to FH directly about it. But when I'm talking to other people, I say 'my' wedding. Unless FH pisses me off like I mentioned above....then it's 'my' wedding and sometimes he's not even invited

just have a life size cut out oh him at church, as it is they are all pretty much useless other than that

We both say 'the' wedding. That way neither one of us says 'my'.

Every time I talk to certain people about the wedding, I find myself saying 'my wedding'...then I correct myself and say 'our'.

I've told FH many times 'just show up', and he's cool with that. If he doesnt have to do anything i cant yell at him for doing something wrong. But i say 'my' wedding all the time and he jokes about it.

P.S I've uninvited him a few times already too

i havent done this yet. usually i say 'the' or 'our'....but i have a feeling since i read this post it has now entered my subconscious...so who knows! lol

i've typed 'my wedding' a bunch of times here on LIW.. but I always edit it before I post! whew (my FH reads these boards every once in awhile) lol

I usually say 'our' or 'the' but sometimes 'my' slips in there. my FH could care less. he tells me 'all I have to do is show up shaved and dressed right?'

Good thing he knows abt the shaved part
