Ok, FH and I are HUGE Dave Matthews Band Fans - we travel to different states to see his concerts. It is something that brought us together.
If you are into DMB you know they dont have many slow songs, but I think Steady As We Go might be the one!
Let me know what you think. All I could find is a live version on YouTube which is a little slower and a little more shaky than the studio version. Love the words though..
I've actually heard of a few girls using this as their song its awesome! If it means something toy uo guys then thats all that matters!

i'm not a big fan of Dave Matthews Band but the lyrics of that song is really good.

Definitely go with it! Especially since DMB means so much to you guys. DH & I met cuz we loved Bon Jovi...and they were a HUGE part of our reception. We had so much fun cuz of it!

I love that song and am a HUGE DMB fan too! DH and I met him outside our (and his) hotel in Boston I almost died! Anyway how about 'Crush' and that song he does with Carlos Santana? I can't remember the name. Steady As We Go is great, but these are a couple we considered.HTH

I have to say...EXCELLENT choice! We are huge fans as well (Loving Wings is our song) but SAWG is another great song.
We are using DMB all over our wedding!!

We plan to dance to Dave Matthews & Carlos Santana's 'you're the love of my life'...it's not so slow from middle to end though and its not really a simple ballroom style kind of dance...hehehe FH is gonna need some lessons.

MTLOM used Steady As We Go as their song! It was really good. I think their dance is somewhere on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXltjj0v6EY They had a band however had a CD for the first dance because they were worried the band wouldn't do as well.
