Our wedding/4-26/long!!

Hi, All,

First off, thanks to everyone for all their help in planning our big day.
Well, for starters, we had absolutely perfect weather as you know. Couldn't ask for better.
The day started off with a giant bouquet of roses & lilies from Keith, as well as a beautiful necklace arriving later on-I sent him yellow roses with one red one in the middle!!
His cousins did my hair & makeup and it came out beautiful-couldn't believe it was me!!
The ceremony was exactly the way I pictured it in my mind-the priest was wonderful, the singer was like hearing an angel and everything was just perfect.
As far as the reception goes, let me tell you that if you picked Milleridge Cottage, your guests will not be disappointed. Everything from the food to the service to the sheer beauty of the place itself!! Our guests have not stopped raving-everyone we talked to said it was the best wedding ever-we are a little let down, but I think we built it up too much in our heads. We did not seem to enjoy it as much as everyone else did. I was enjoying it up until we sat down at the reception and then it just seemed like the time got away and I didn't eat or dance as much as I had planned, so I think that had alot to do with it. Sorry to be sounding so negative; the day was absolutely perfect, we just didn't expect not to be blown away ourselves, that's all.
But, we are so thrilled that every single one of our guests had the time of their lives, because that's why we had the big party anyway-for them. The ceremony was more for us & the whole rest of our lives, of course!! Leaving Monday for Atlantis; will post upon return.

And, people loved all the personal touches we put on the day-they all said how great it was that we put so much thought into the day!!

My fi's sister had her wedding at Mileridge and it was very beautiful! She had really nice pictures of the flowergirls in the carriage - all the pics seemed to glow with the day.

Which vendors did you use - flowers, DJ, limos, etc...

Royalty Limos was outstanding; very professional & very friendly drivers!!

For our flowers we used Best Rose Ever which is our local florist & they have a location in Lynbrook as well-we couldn't believe how gorgeous the flowers were & still are-they are all over our house!!

The dj was the only thing we weren't too happy with-got a great price because he was friend of brother, but he just didn't get what we wanted-everyone said he was great, but he messed up on some of the dedications and stuff like that from lack of communication.

Video was Candlelite Video-Mike & Tim were the ones working with us that day; they were excellent; didn't even know they were there most of the day!!

Congratulations! Many more happy occassions to you and Keith!!! I was wondering who was the video/photographers as well as did you have a band or dj, and which ones? We are in the planning stages and just have the hall so far. Thank you! And congrats again!

We used Candlelite Video; they were very professional, polite & never got in our way or in the way of our photographer, who is a very good friend of the family.
DJ was a friend of brother who used to be a DJ himself.
