Does anyone (bride to be) else feel at times that their wedding isn't theirs. Like the family and or FH are taking over everything??

yes.... oddly enough FH acts very uninvolved but i realized yesterday that most of the things we have/are doing were infact his ideas after shooting down mine... all the way down to the font of the invites i printed...lol

That makes me feel better. Everytime I turn around I feel as if the planning is getting further and further from what I envisioned as my 'dream' wedding. I was beginning to think I was the only one!

no your not the only one, i envisioned mine much different than it will be.... BUT we should try to atleast pick that one special thing that no one can take or change from us..... hmmmm

I picked my favors and centerpieces. I think that is the only thing that I picked besides my dress.

I think everyone feels that way a little bit. I try to put it in perspective and not get upset

agree...thats what's so great about this site. i get ideas that i would never think of and find new ways to compromise!

It makes me feel better to know that other people are going through the same thing. Most people I talk to tell me that they had no issues...it was all up to them!
