out of curiosity...

How many of you only recommened the vendors you are using?

I try to recommened according to what people specifically need which is sometimes not who I am using. But thats sometimes hard if I do not know about the other vendors.

i recommend other vendors all the time

I recommend vendors based upon my experience with them.
Not everyone is a good fit, and everyone has different opinions.

I try to recommend other vendors if I'm familiar with them. I think that I tend to recommend my vendors more because (1) I have firsthand experience with them for weddings and (2) I picked them b/c I liked them.

I'm not possessive or defensive about my vendors, though, so I always try to give people a lot of options. I also try to give people a context for my recommendation -- letting them know if it's a vendor I'm using, have met with, know someone who used them, have seen them recommended here before, etc.

If I am still shopping around for vendors I will I recommend the ones I like and I think are good but when I have a vendor booked, I will only recommend them, ex: my florist

I usually recommend my vendors first because I really like the vendors I've chosen and did a lot of research on price, customer service, etc. before making my choice.

I will recommend other vendors if I feel like they would be a good fit to someone else, or if I met with them and liked them but didn't book them for a minor reason... I will also recommend vendors that I've heard a lot of good things about even though I am not using them.
