Out of hand

Original post by FutureMrsLots

So I've noticed this BOTW thing has gotten out of hand. I do not wish to drag this out any further and I do not want to further taint the BOTW thread. For the record, I was not the only who didn't know who the new BOTW was. It is true that you can pick whomever you wish to and I'm not saying to you can't.

This is a board for all girls to get together and share in this awesome time in all of our lives. It is not my intention for relationships to be tainted or to cause drama over something like the BOTW. It's a great thing that someone started and no one should take that away from anyone.

This has nothing to do with jealously. We've all been friendly and shared some great stuff with each other. And I would hate for something like this ruin the good thing we all have going here.

We don't need crashers coming here and stirring the pot even more. Let's all be ladies and end the issue.

Taunita, Congratulations! Enjoy your week. We look forward to your quotes and advice!

2010 crasher here because I could not stay silent.

You 2011 ladies keep your heads held high.

Don’t let any drama follow you from any other boards.

Seriously. Seriously??? I am SHOCKED that women are saying 'told you so'.

SHOCKED!!!!!!!!

I post when I can, and when I feel I can add to the information requested, and dont like involved in drama. Everyone is allowed thier opinions, even if we dont want to hear them, or dont agree with them. Fair enough.

But cant we all just be cordial to one another?

Serously???!!????

im just curious why youre shocked? its inevitable... whether its a new poster that comes on and says something stupid or its two posters that just dont like each other... its completely unavoidable...

the reason there is a hoopla now is beacause it was literally said that they dont have drama on the 2011 baord and minutes later there was drama...

Fair enough.

Im just shocked someone said 'Told ya so'. It just seems like something a petulant child would say.

Honestly. We are all adults and can act nicely toward one another. Thats really all im saying.

in theory sure... but the reality of it is very different... just because we're all adults doesnt mean we act that way... myself included... lol

I've said it before but when I entered the working world after college, I was in complete shock to find out that some women never leave h.s. I couldn't believe these grown professional women saying the cattiest, bitchiest things about eachother. Literally on my first day women were pulling me aside telling me who to avoid and who not to have lunch with and who did what to who last month. Also, they were completely up in my business trying to get gossip on the new girl. So awkward.

Anyway, my point is that sadly, age doesn't equal maturity more often then not.

I'm gonna throw a 2010 Riceball (our olive branch) in the mix.

11'ers, the only way for drama to end is to stop commenting on this thread and pretend the original issue never happened. Even those of you who are just saying, 'thanks for posting this' add to it. Even though your right imo it's still fuel to the fire.
Let this small die with this post.

Nothing 'petulent-child'-like about saying 'Told you so'.

We told it like it was and guess what. We were right.

I don't know any of you girls and I'm not judging any of you on an individual basis. I'm sure there's an equal amount of you that or awesome or lame compared to any other year of brides.

I just find it hilarious that girls from this board went and started a thread about the '2010ers' yesterday and wanted to be all comment happy about what popcorn starters we all are, allegedly the complete opposite of the angelic behavior that goes on over here and 20 hours later you guys are quarreling.

Believe me. I think it's hilarious. Quarrel on.

It's not HS behavior. It's telling it like it is. Unfortunately 90% of people are 'too HS' to TAKE hearing it like it is.

ah k hopefully we can all move on from this because this is a great site that we all really help out eachother from! and it is hard because sometimes we will get offended by what someone says n i guess its only natural for that to happen! we are girls!!
