Hi Gals,

so one of my BMs lives down in FL. i'm ordering her dress with the others to insure the same dyed lot and will have it shipped to her. She checked out dress shops by her that carry that designer and no one will alter it unless it's ordred from that shop. she went to a seamstress who told her alteration would be $200 without even knowing how much work needs to be done on the dress.
Is anyone else having these problems too? Can anyone offer a suggestion??

I have a BM in Georgia. Bridal Reflections shipped her dress. She went to a bridal store down there and ofcourse they wouldn't alter it. However, they gave her their seamstress info and she did it for the same price as the other BM's. I think it was under $65. So she should call around and see if anyone will refer her to a seamstress that doesn't cahrge such an astronomical price.

There's GOT to be a seamstress around who will do it for a reasonable price.... tell her to keep looking!

does she plan on coming up for your shower? maybe she can get it altered here in NY when she is up
