I'm about to book our honeymoon and started the process through tripology. 2 of the 3 ta's were great and 1 in is NYC and the other is in SC. I feel weird about doing everything over email and not meeting the person. Is this legit and do I have anything to worry about???
I think it would be fine...You need a travel agent that knows where you want to go better than anyone else....so focus your decision on that.
She's actually been great. I've been having the two agents compete and she has topped the other one by throughing in extra things. I'm just weary about not being able to meet them in person....
I worked with my TA completely over the phone and email. I work in the city and shes on LI and only in the office til 5 everyday so it was difficult for me to meet her. We worked very well together and it all worked out perfectly.
I use someone in Virginia and I live in Queens, you should be fine.
I used travel impressions to book my bora bora honeymoon which is based in SC I believe. We did everything over the phone/ email, so it doesn't really matter where they are located.
my TA is from NY but lives in SC and we booked our HM through her and everything was perfect. I love her to pieces and it hasnt been an issue that she is out of state
I booked a tour for my HM completely over email. If the company is reputable then you should have no problem.

You'll be fine as long as you get a contract for everything. I booked with a travel agent online and have no clue where she is lol.
