FH is Polish with lots of family that still ilve in Poland...I am Peruvian and lots of my family stil live in Peru. Both set of families do not speak Engish
From my side, I know noone will be able to come to our wedding and from his side his grandma might come. Out of courtesy, we will be sending them invitations...my question is....can I send them DIY invites (I'm talking abt the ones that require no work and are template based, low price ones) I was planning on doing these in both english and polish....I think it's a waste of $ if I send them invites I will use for other guests (those residing in the states that will 99.9% come) and also the fact that they wont understand the language!!!
anyway, what do u guys think? is this tacky?
oh and fyi..i wouldn need to diy about 30 invites

i think doing the diy is fine, as long as there's no shot of them seeing the other invites you're sending..
but if you're mailing a courtesy one especially in another language i think its fine

I am Polish They won't care plus they would not even know that your other guest have different invites. They will be mad if they won't get an invite- I know I am sending a lot of invites to Poland even though I know that they won't come.

I think you will be fine....the chances of them seeing someone elses invite from the US is slim since they wont be attending the wedding anyway. Besides you can always say that you made two invites for two languages!!

I am using the same invites...DIY invites-really simple- and the ones that I am sending out to Poland in Polish not in English (won't understand). FM me if you want to know a little bit more about Polish weddings
