What do you put in the out of town baskets that you leave in the hotel rooms for your guests?

I'm planning on putting, snacks, water, soda, a door tag and a welcome note with information about the area and the party.

Do you guys think instead of doing hotel bags I could just have them put a sign up at the check in area saying what time the shuttle leaves? Honestly I'm just so not up for doing something extra lol

I'm putting random info about our towns and things to do while they are here(ie where to eat, what to do while we are at rehearsal and such), snacks, door tag and an extra direction card (people forget those) and including shuttle info.

LOL, I hear ya on that! I would call your hotel and ask them. Some hotels are weird about that stuff.

I stayed in a hotel for a wedding recently and they didn't have a welcome bag or anything. They hotel gave out a business card type card with the room keys that said all the shuttle info. But the venue provided the shuttle so maybe that's why. Def talk to your hotel about it. I'm def not doing the whole welcome basket/bag thing. Too much work and money we don't have lol.
