Does anyone else have out of town Groomsmen that won't be coming until a few days before the wedding? If so, how are you handling this in regards to the tuxes? The best man lives in California and won't be coming to Long Island until a little less than a week before the wedding. I know Mens Warehouse rents tuxes, and I know there's a location close to his house in Cali, but I just wanted to know if there were any other chain stores that rent tuxes. I haven't checked out Men's Warehouse yet, so I don't know what they have, but I would hate to have to limit my choices if I don't like anything they have.
Any advice would be great.. Thanks

If you don't have to go through a chain, try Esquire Tuxedos in Merrick. Mike is awesome and will def. give you a fair price and the quality is great!!! He keeps his in stock so if someone comes and has gained he can probably accomodate them. One of my GM is in Cali, too and he just has to call his measurments in. Just let Mike know and he will take care of it!! Good Luck,

My sister had all of her groomsmen coming from Canada to LI. She ended up going with mens wearhouse and picked them up a few days before and had the guys try them on. We did have to do a few extra trips to switch out some things that didn't fit, but all in all it worked out.

Hello,
One of the groomsman actually lives in San Diego. What we are doing is that he is going to a tailor in San Diego get his measurments and with that will find him the tux size. The company where we are renting the tuxes from here are OK and very understanding. The groomsman arrives here probably a week too.
The tuxedo place is called Di Ri in Franklin Square.

We are going to Men's Wearhouse because they have MW in Colorado when 2 of the GM live.

We're thinking that we have to do Mens Warehouse, we have 4 GM's who all live in different states and they all have a Mens Warehouse nearby. I just wish there were more tuxedo chains!!!

were in the same situation so were using mens warehouse from my understanding it will work just like davids bridal, as in the groomsmen will get measured in their home state and that info will be sent to a mens warehouse on long island so that they can pick up the right tux that fits them a few days before the wedding when they get to long island

We are using Mens Warehouse for this exact reason. My FH's best man is in Maryland and when he got married in Delaware my FH was able to get what he needed in NY and then returned the tux in Delaware right after the wedding.. very easy and they looked great!!

Our GM's are mostly coming from Barbados.. The Mens warehouse gave us measurements cards, so they are going get measured in Barbados and mail me the cards and I will return them to the store.
