anyone creating a little gift bag for there out of town guest?? if so what are you putting in the bags? want something to do something creative but just cant think of anything other then the typical:
water advil cookie mints or gum
what else?

I have seen some people put in maps, time line of wedding events, or coupons for dunkin donuts coffee.

Yes put in maps and things to do in the area. You can get that stuff out of the hotel lobby.
