I just found out that due to a small incident, (one of the reasons I havn't been on in a few weeks) FH's brother can't come to our wedding. In his place, FH decides to call his friend from his old job and ask him to be an usher. Only problem is the guy lives in Oklahoma now. I am scared that since they don't call each other too often or see each other this guy is going to blow it off and mess things up. What should I do.

that is a tough one. I would talk to FH and ask him how reliable he feels this person is. Tell him your concerns and just ask if he has a back up in case this new person doesn't work out.

Well, try to think of it as what's the worst that can happen ... he doesn't show? Then 1 usher walks down with 2 bridesmaids. It's not ideal, but it's not the worst thing.
