Out of towner needs help

Shopping for a reception site but live out of town. I went to Watermill this past weekend and thougt it was great. It is about $15 /pp more than my budget allows for 100-125 people. Can anyone give me suggestion of something comprable to Watermill under 74/pp . Thanks!

Try Villa Lombardi's. They are close to what you are looking for.

Re: Out of towner needs help

if oyu truly liked the watermill, call them monday or tuesday, tell them you loved the place but it seemed a little too $$$ - you can try and talk them down too - tell them they are 25 over what you wanted to spend - this way hopefully they will work with you and give it to you at 15 dollars off!!

good luck!

Re: Out of towner needs help

You can also try the Miller Place Inn, if you're willing to do an afternoon wedding I think you can definately get that in your price range.

Re: Out of towner needs help

i have never been to the watermill so I am not sure how to compare. But Meadow Club in Port Jefferson....I am getting married a Saturday night in June and paying just slightly more than your range, but I added to my menu.
Also, if you look on the website, Trust me the pics do NOT do the place justice. I almost didnt check this place out because I wasnt impressed with the website, but I am so glad I did. It has been the easiest wedding decision so far!

Re: Out of towner needs help

I recommend the Sunset Harbour as well. .their site on here does nothing for them... They have AWESOME food that your guests will rave about... this is the third family function we have done there, and I am sure it wont be the last!!!!!

Definetly try the Manor East (now a vendor on here). They are in their price range and are wonderful.
