Out of Towner Question

I will be traveling from Texas for my wedding on LI in December. I plan on bringing my gown with me in November at Thanksgiving and am going to find a bridal salon that would be willing to press my dress and my bridesmaids for the wedding. Anyone else have to do this? Any suggestions of good bridal stores in Nassua that might be willing to offer this service?

I don't know if they will do this, you may want to look up a nearby cleaners. They will definately do this.

Definitely try to find a dry cleaners near by-- that's what i di for my friends wedding in VA.

You also want to speak with the airline. Some planes do not have alot of room for a full gown to be hung-up. My suggestion is to go business class. They treat you better and are more willing to help you keep your gown perfect. I read once that a girl purchased a ticket for her gown so it could lay on the seat next to her.
