out to lunch with coworker?

out to lunch with coworker?

ok, if a guy in your office, who is married, asks you out to lunch, and he's a nice guy, friendly to you, etc, would you go? I know he is just being friendly, but he is always around and we don't sit anywhere near eachother.

Also, I always think, if my FI asked a girl to lunch I would be like,'what the f---k? why do you need to take her to lunch?'

Am I thinking too much?

I would definitely go. There is nothing wrong with 2 coworkers going to lunch.

I wouldn't go. I would not want my Dh to go out to lunch with a female co-worker, so I wouldn't do it. If it was a group - the I think that is justifiable, but not alone - JMO

if you feel bad about it, then don't. How do you think he would feel, when you told him your day. If you ned to lie, then don't do it. Not worth it.

I can understand if we sat near each other and talked all day, so we went out for a bite, or got a sandwich and brought it back, or started going out in a group, but for him to be all at my desk asking me specifically to 'go out to lunch sometime'? I don't know.

if I told him, which I would, he would be a little jealous. But he holds that stuff in.

Why is it a problem for either FH or you to go out to lunch with a coworker of another sex? I would think you trust him by now. And as for you, you have the e-ring on, right!!! Solves the problem...
