Outdoor Ceremony - aisle runner question

Hello ladies,

What will you be doing to your aisle runner to avoid tipping while walking on the aisle? I need some advice or suggestions?

Please help.

TIA!

I dont think i will even put on down. I am probably just going to line the aisle with rose petals instead.

if you are dead set on an aisle runner I would say maybe anchoring it down by lining it with pillars of some kind with candles on it.

Personally, if the runner is going over grass, I wouldn't do one only because it may bulk up as you walk on it and risk you falling on it. I like the idea of just lining the aisle with flower petals.

Re: Outdoor Ceremony - aisle runner question

my parents were just at an outdoor wedding this weekend and said that the aisle runner was a mess and it was too windy for it to stay down and the bride was barely able to walk down it, and then after the ceremony everyone turned around to watch the couple walk back down the aisle and the runner had landed on the other side of the ceremony.

all in all this story is the reason why i will just be doing rose petals :) i have enough to worry about besides the wind picking up.

Thank you so much for sharing, I wouldn't want that to happen... Just got info from a friend this morning that I could put white duct tape on both sides to avoid this.
