Can anyone recommend a park or outdoor area in or near Cedarhust where my FI and I can take pics on the day of our wedding? Thanks everyone!

I know that there is a park in Cedarhurst to take pics, not sure exaclty where though, I think on/near Central Avenue
ETA: My ceremony is in cedarhurst, and I was thinking of going there if I find out I will let you know.

What about that park, I think maybe off of cedarhurst ave, right by the train station (across from LaViola) that has a nice gazebo.... I think that's a pretty place to do pictures...

I think thats the one I was told about! My photographer actually told me..maybe you should ask yours...they usually know good places..

it's called ceaderhurst park , and it's on oak ave across from the train station, and laviola is the best place to eat in town, but if you want a cheap place to eat goto mother kellys next dorr from there

You can't really see much, but there is a small picture of the park and a nice picture of the gazebo.

No permit is needed....I took my pictures there is 2001 and they were doing major construction...I swear it started the day before my wedding...my photographer did a wonderful job with the angles!!!
Check it out before you decide...they put up a playground and you may not want it in the background.
LaViola is awesome...had my shower and rehersal dinner there.....my family eats there a few nights a week...I miss it now that I live in Rockland County.
