How many of you that run outside like running in the rain? I only ask cuz I just got caught in the thunderstorms, that of course stopped as soon as I got home, and all I could think was how much I hate running in the rain.

I love running in the rain. Mostly, I hate running in the hot sun. I love being so soaking wet that when I come home, a shower feels all the more better! I guess it is from too many years of X-C running and my coach teaching us to 'run through' the puddles - not to be too girlie and try to side step them. How far did you run? Doing and road races this summer? If so where?

I am running about 3-5 miles a day right now. I used to run at least six a day, but I hadn't run for over a year and just started about two weeks ago. I think I just hate the totally wet sneaker thing, they feel like lead weights. As far as the races are concerned, I was going to do the State Park Summer Run series and of course forgot to register. I may do a couple of those and I am going to start looking at other races. I can do a 5K in under 30 minutes now so I won't be too embarrassed to race.
