it depends on the weather. If its nice and comfy then why not but it should be ok since you're early in Oct.

Re: Outdoor Wdg Ceremony in...
We looked at October for ours, we settled on September in the end because I like the number 13 but originally when we bumped up the date from March, it was to October. We took off a few weeks from there once I saw the open dates.

I think it's totally fine!! I think it's the beginning of October and it will be comfortable. nice cool breeze. However... I would somehow let the guests know so they can bring a sweater or something.

I think you should be fine. You date is in early October so it still should be pretty nice out.
All the ladies attending can just bring a shawl with them.

Thanks Ladies!
My ceremony is outside in the early evening and at first I was ok with it but now that the weather is getting chilly I guess im second guessing myself!
How do I let the guests know that its outdoors and to warn them to bring something just in case?
Hopefully it will be beautiful out! Im keeping my fingers crossed!!! Plus, I didnt order anything from my florist to decorate bevcause the ceremony is in a garden. Now if it rains, it will be indoors and I have no more money to budget for indoor florist decorations

Dresses never have sleeves and rarely have good jackets. I hate when fall weddings are outside. Brrr...
I wouldn't plan on it unless you have a good back up plan you really like, my friend planned an outdoor garden wedding last October and it got so cold she had to move it inside, you could see your breath, and ended up doing exactly what she didn't want, having it in the ballroom.

Personally... I would LOVE to be outside for a fall wedding ceremony.
I prefer to be a little chilly than to be all sweaty from the heat!!
If people can do that to you in the summer.. then why not for the fall??
I DEF prefer fall weather!!!

Oh and as an answer to your question.. I don't think you need to say or state 'bring a sweater' but just letting them know the ceremony is outdoors should be enough for them to know to bring a sweater of some sorts.
Oh and best bet is a schall, since dresses tend to not come with jackets.

Re: Outdoor Wdg Ceremony in...
Call me crazy.. but I'm actually hoping to have my CH half outdoors!! haha!! there is a REALLY cute courtyard area right off the CH room... and I REALLY want people to be able to go out there to smoke and hang out a little bit. It just makes the whole CH area larger. I know my wedding is November.... but it's the beginning so I'm hoping for a warmer day.
I'm also thinking about those heater things!! You know those things that are on stands... I know they have them at WM.

Re: Outdoor Wdg Ceremony in...
I wanted to have a outdoor ceremony at my RH but FH wanted a church wedding but Fall weddings outside are beautiful with the foliage....amazing!!! I have a suggestion though if you were going to have slipper basket maybe instead you could have a shawl basket like those pashminas that would be really cool.
Hopefully our weekend is in the upper 70's weekend twin

Why thank you . The shawls could be in different fall colors like brown, orange, red, black etc or maybe all black so they can match with whatever your guests are wearing and have them rolled up like how you roll up a towel and then tie it with a ribbon.
