I get free alternations with the purchase of my dress and I am not touching the bustle because it is detachable.

$350.00, totally redesigned the top portion of the dress plus shortened it from the waist. I believe she charges $5.00 per loop for the bustle. My seamstress was Karin Y from Astoria and she is a doll to work with.

Mine are capped at $245 but they don't think I will need all of it. And that includes bustle.

i was quoted between $100 and $250, depending on how much had to be done. the store caps it at $250 unless significant work has to be done.

For my alterations they capped them at $150.00 So for my bustle and hem about a 1/4 of an inch was $115 and then I got cups put in becuase I had a Maggie Sottero dress and the back was a corset. Cups are $25. They make a killling on alterations. My BM's alterations where capped at $50 but most of them got cups put in (EXTRA). Only 1 girl used up the $50 because the dress was sooo big on her, which was a good thing they capped them because they pretty much had to make her whole dress smaller. It came out beautiful though so I guess it was worth the 50 bucks to make her a whole new dress

I am using Burton's Bridals and their alterations are included in the dress price (which was cheaper than anywhere else i contacted) The bustle is 55-65.
