oval table - pictures?

Hey there!

My RH uses oblong tables and I am having a really hard time picturing what type of centerpieces to have.

Do any of you have pictures of a room set up with oblong tables?

I can't copy it, but go to www.chateaubriandcaterers.com and click 'weddings' at the top. The second pic that loads shows them.

My RH has oval tables. I can't show you pictures b/c I didn't have my wedding yet but I can show you the idea of my CP's. We wanted to take up a little more room since the tables were long

this is from chateau briand's website. i'm doing the same thing as mikeandjess 2 low square centerpieces per table.

i know CB gives the option to use round tables instead of oblong. if you dont want the oblong tables ask your RH & they will prob accommodate you.

thought I would need a longer or 2 pieces for the tables but there is so much 'stuff' on them, especially if your RH puts wine on the tables that a smaller CP will be fine. the RH also had votives on the tables.

Ditto this. I had an 8 inch funkin and a central row of silk petals. The tables get pretty tight given the size of the settings and the multiple glasses.

my RH has oval tables and although I don't have pics of my centerpiece yet, I am just having 1 8 or 10inch terra cotta pot with flowers in it and some leaves spread around. as people have told me, b/c i didn't think it would be enough for the table, you will have so many other things on the table it won't look bare! good luck!

I have the same situation with Chateau La Mer. I am planning on having a bowl witha floating gardenia in the middle then a row of votives and rose petals on either side of it so it goes down the middle of the table, rather than just having one thing in the center.

I'm getting married at the Woodlands next June and am planning on having a large square vase (low) with peonies, hydrangeas, cymbidium orchids and a few other stock. Then on either side I'm having 3 small square candle votives the florist threw in for free (to balance out the table). I'm working with Pedestals and they do lots of events there so whoever your florist is could probably recommend some ideas too.

we had oval tables. with some being set for 8, others 10 or even 11, there wasn't much room. We went with only the glass hurricane lantern with tapered candles, tea lights and rose petals and it was perfect. Simple, yet very elegant.
