over-reacting or not?,,,,mini vent

So yea, I am away for work and bummed out, its cold and my FH is with all of our friends at a superbowl party. usually he calls me multiple times when he is off but I feel like I had to track him down today, I got 2 text messages in 4 hours and I had to call him. I am mad,,, I know its my 'fault' that I am at work away, but come on! am I wrong....

aw, i would not worry! it is hard when you are away like that, not knowing where he is/what he is doing.....i used to get like that from time to time as FH and were in a long distance relationship for about 4 years.....it may bot seem like much, but at least he texted you a few times, he is prob caught up into the game/party etc. i am sure once it winds down he will give you a call and the attention will be on you!

Ugh,,, I KNOW he is not doing anything 'bad', and I havw nothing to worry about, but if the shoes were on the other feet,,, he'd have a problem

The Superbowl is SUCH a big deal for sports fans, and it only comes once a year. It doesn't mean he's neglecting you - let him have his one day, and tomorrow, things will be back to normal.

i know how that feels. i have to go away for work a few times a year for weeks at a time and i HATE it, b/c i'll call and he'll be out having fun with friends and i'm stuck in a hotel by myself. but try and cheer up. you'll be back soon, right? and as you said, you know he wasn't doing anything bad. he was hanging out with your friends and you just wish you were there too. it's only natural.

feel better, and i hope your work is finished soon so you can get home to him!!

I know it ***** but when guys watch football they're in another world...Sometimes i do the same not with football lol, but i'll be out (which i havent done in a while ) with friends and we'll be busy talking or whatever and i dont wanna sit there and in the middle of conversations or whatever stop to call...Especially when you dont see your friends that often and its like the time you spend with them you dont want to spend your time calling your FI when they know you spend all your time with them...Its nothing bad at all, and he is not doing anything on purpose, but yeah it still ***** i know.

FH is in vegas now, and infact in 13 mins its his birthday but i cant complain i bought him the trip with his friends for x-mas lol...I dont get to spend his birthday with him, we are celebrating both of our b-days this weekend coming up but still
