We need one of these two because we have my cousin who is a GM and he lives in the Boston area, and the other GMs live in NY.

Our GM are in NY, GA and Boston. We are using After Hours. I know some people have had bad experiences, but as of now, nothing bad ::knocking on wood::
I guess we'll see the closer we get to the wedding.....IN 43 FREAKIN DAYS!!!!

Same here, we have guys in NH, OR and NY. So far, so good, but I'll know better as it gets close to the wedding.
Guys can order tuxes as late as a month before the wedding I was told. But you might want to consider checking now because you're in high graduation and prom season.

I don't know much about either company, but just so you know, you don't have to go with a company that is in the area of your OOT GM. Pretty much all over our GM are OOT- some upstate, one in FL. All tux stores, as a courtesy to each other, will measure your guys. Then they send the measurements to the store here on LI that you are using, and a day or two before the wedding, they can go and pick them up. This is what we are doing.

We had a terrific experience with Men's Wearhouse...used a VA and NY store since our guys were all in different parts of VA.

Beth - we have one GM in North Carolina, one in South Carolina, and two in New York. We went with a NY store (Tuxedo Park), and got cards for the guys to fill out with their measurments that they can then mail, fax, email or call store with. I sent the cards to the OOT guys with the STD. FH & I went to the store, he tried on various tuxes, picked what he liked, then I picked out tie colors for the rest of the guys. All the guys names went into the computer with their role (BM or GM or escorting bride etc) and what they are supposed to get (vest, tie etc).
The point of course, is that you don't have to use a national chain, but from what I've heard, I would go with After Hours - not that either is very well rated here.

I used both. My Dad used Men's Warehouse and the bridal party used After Hours. My dad's vest was too small and my FIL (after hours) got the wrong color vest. bridal party had no problems. These are problems they were able to fix. I think in dealing with either one you have to stay on top of them.

Sorry, but my vote is neither - we've had bad experiences w/ both. FFIL, RB, 2 GM and Best Man all live in Florida - we are using a local shop and they are calling in their measurements. The shop has everything on site so if something doesn't fit they have other sizes there. Plus there will be a tailor there when the guys pick up their tuxes. You don't have to use a chain.
