So FH and I were out at dinner last night and we were BLESSED (sarcasm) to have a group of 6 women sitting withing 5 feet of us. They were ripping apart diffrent weddings that they have gone to in the past. From the sound of it they were talking about 3 or 4 diffrent weddings. But anyhow,,, they started talking about Favors, and how they one woman said she SENDS back the favor if the couple gets divorced! I didnt catch why,, but OMG!!! Another converstatong was about how they all agree anything that is not a CD or food related is useless.... Also they think making a donation to any where is NOT a favor to them!
I wanted to jump in and tell them what I thought of their CRAZY talk,, but FH kept me in my seat! Now I am off to work,, but thought I'd share people's stupidity!

SOO many issues I have with what they said, but I think the donation favor comment is the most telling…those ladies sound like self-centered and selfish nuts!

i agree.. you knw what she must do in order to be able to do that.. that means she prob has a box full of favors marked with whos wedding it was and then just WAITS for the person to get divorced to send it back! Wierd!

And, on top of it..... who does she send it back to? The bride??? The groom??? Does she have a second made in order to send one to each? Is she THAT GIRL who takes 2, just in case she has to send back???

Haha! Now I know to make sure I grab two favors whenver I go to a wedding in case of divorce.
Why in the world would anyone want to get a favor back after a divorce? That just seems to be out of pure malice and spite!
