Overtime or extending the reception?

Overtime or extending the reception?

Did anyone get quotes from their hall in regards to overtime or if you are extending your reception? If you can share any info on this, I'd appreciate it. Please feel free to FM me, I wanted to inquire with my hall about this but wasn't sure what the norm is.

Thanks!

We had them add this to the contract, just in case... It's $6/pp per hour. Not bad really...

At foxhollow I think it was a flat 1500.... At villa lombardi's its 8pp. Most places I've been vienese with extra hour is 10-14pp.

The Carltun charges $2,000 for an extra hour or $4,000 for an after party upstairs (which we are having) for 1 1/2h including band, cigars, drinks and strolling desserts..

My DJ is $300 per extra hour, and the venue (in NJ) charges $5 per person for an extra hour.

Mine was more money per person for an hour and 1/2 that much for only a 1/2 hour.......(it was so long ago, I honestly forgot how much it was)--but wasnt worth it to me to do it

Thanks, this is what I wanted to see, if it would be worth it. if not, I may just stick with the one-hour CH and 4 hour Reception, even though that hour and a half CH sounds like a good idea.
