So I got so overwelmed at the florist today, he was wipping out so many pictures and saying names of flowers I didnt know, he did listen to what I want-- or what I think of what I want but I dont have a clear vision of how I want my flowers to look.... Then after all that confusion he says how much it will all cost and I just dont know what im even getting!! I told him I wanted gerber daisys and roses haha, He is making a sample for me to see saturday.. can anyone tell me if this is reasonable:
My Bouquet MOH 3 BM bouquet 1 jr BM bouquet 5 coursages 10 boutiners 15 6' bowl centerpeices to sit in candelabra (the candelabras are provided by the RH) and two flower things for the church

I got high centerpieces, low flower submerged vase centerpieces, my bridal party, my bok, flower petal cones, and tons more for 1500...I would quote around some more if i was you.....especially for gerbers and roses which are easy for a florist to come by.

Can I suggest a florist in Huntington called Bella Flowers. Christine was wonderful!
I had the same problem when I went to the first florist, just rattling off flowers that I was not familiar with. Then went to Bella Flowers and Christina took the time to go over everything as well as pull flowers and start putting together different flowers into bouquets.
Just a suggestion. You have to feel comfortable when choosing your florist.

I'm paying more than that....this is what I'm getting
- my bouquet - throw away bouquet - 2 MOHs - 5 bridesmaid - 1 jr. bridesmaid - flower girl - 3 bouquets for: MOB, MOG, and my Granny - 12 boutiners - 12 centerpieces of branches with flowers and hanging tealights - 1 piece for the card table
hmmm...perhaps Im paying too much???

Sooo i went to the florist to see his sample.. keep in mind i told him modern, small, classic
Needless to say I hated it... Tonight I have an appointment with bella flowers! So excited! She seemed amazing on the phone!

I was gonna say - there isn't a whole lot of flowers going on in that sample.
It's all fillers!! For the amount you are paying you should be getting ALL flowers!!!!!!!!

I don't know where you are located but try Sharon of Designer Florals. She was AMAZING to work with. She even put together some samples during my consulation and created an actual piece once it was all figured out before booking with her. She really worked with my budge as well and is sooooo passionate and excited about what she does.
for $2000 we got
My bouquet and throw away 5 BM bouquet 5 boutaniers for groomsmen 1 groom, 3 fathers 1 grandfather boutainers 2 mothers and 1 grandmother corsage flowers for the cake candles and petals for the card table 11 tall centerpieces made of branches and flowers and crystals hanging
