I know how you feel. I made most of mine disappear...my mom was here in Chicago for my graduation and I sent all the stuff I purchased for the wedding back to NY with her. I can actually see the floor in my den now!

The pile in the living room is growing, but I don't mind those bc they are wedding gifts.

Like another bride said keep a running list of everything you need to do and cross it off as it gets done. Don't do it on post-its, I made that mistake and now I can find the darn things!

I hear ya, I have such a small apt that I can't stand all the crap laying around. I brought almost all of it to my mom's, the poor thing, her guest bedroom is my wedding stuff room!

Its definetly the small stuff that stresses you out, i also have so much stuff lying around that i forget what i have and i have a few duplicates of things. And everytime i think i am done and have purchased all the small stuff, you girls post something that i have to have that i try to figure out how to incorporate it into my own wedding. Everybody on this site has the best ideas!!!!!!!!

I keep hiding stuff behind the couch and in our extra room, but I am slowly running out of space. My FH is going to kill me!

Hey if you toooo overwhelmed just start storing some things at your BMs houses. They are there to assist us! That is the job of a BM. I have stored all my items at my Mom's house and very little at mine.

You are funny but like hell no, when that stuff leaves my house it is making 1 trip to the CH that is it, I would be a basket case looking for stuff and forgetting....

I've learned early when planning a wedding it can get very stressful. You have to sit back and take the time to laugh and have fun. That's why I refuse to sit down prior to the wedding and calculate how much we are spending on this wedding, but I laugh all the time. As the day gets closer, I laugh even harder and louder. First night of HM Fh and I will be knocked out. (JUST FOR & ONLY THE FIRST NIGHT)

I purchased wedding software so I am well aware of the $$$ being spent, the FH is not

Ha Ha!!! I agree!! Charlotte honey don't stress yourself out and yes I know it is easier said than done. Just know that you will get everything done that u need to and at the end of the day you'll be married to the man of your dreams. Just focus on that and breathe!!!

Oh my God, tell me about it! Our wedding is less than 4 weeks away and I'm driving my fiance crazy with my mood swings. I was calm until about a month ago when I realized the wedding is so close. I didn't think I would break down! The best thing to do is just make a list of what you have to do on paper and cross it off as you go, like the other post said. And remember to schedule time to do other non-wedding related activities with you fiance. Not only will it help alleviate the stress, but it help you remember the important reason you are getting married in the first place -to be with each other.
