Ovulation Predictors.....

Honey and I have decided to start TTC...... yay!

I wanted to ask you ladies your opinion/advice on ovulation predictors/kits..
which would you recommend - like/dislike, etc....are they expensive??

I have been using the Clear Blue Easy regular (they also have digital sticks but much more expensive).
They aren't cheap, about $27.99 but once you get a positive you can stop testing so if you time it right one box will last more than one month.

what do you mean positive? sorry to sound like an ingnoramous...but I have no idea what these kits are like...

There is a reference line that shows after you pee on the stick.
When you are within 24-36 hours of ovulating (your LH surge) both lines will be the same color or your line will be darker.
If its lighter you are either testing too early or too late.

oh, that's simple enough...how many sticks come in one box?
I'm not as familiar with these things...sorry..

I don't even know what the reference 'BD' means..... I just call it 'KB' a.k.a. 'knockin' boots' LOL...

BD= Baby Dancing

There are 7 sticks in a box and it comes with good directions on when to start using them based on how long your cycle is.

I have not started that task yet. Just using the sticks for now. I figure if I don't get preggos this month I will start charting temps and CM as well.
